Functie Voorste vezels: - Anteflexie arm: de arm naar voren bewegen. - Endorotatie: de arm naar
binnen draaien in het schoudergewicht. - Abductie arm: de arm van het lichaam af bewegen in
zijwaartse richting. Achterste vezels: - Retroflexie arm: de arm naar achteren bewegen. - Exorotatie:
de arm naar buiten draaien in het schoudergewicht. - Abductie arm: de arm van het lichaam af
bewegen in zijwaartse richting Alle vezels: - Abductie tot 90°: de arm tot 90° van het lichaam af

M. Infraspinatus
Functie - Exorotatie: de arm naar buiten draaien in het schoudergewricht. - Hulp bij retroflexie arm:
de arm naar achteren bewegen. - Adductie arm met onderste vezels: de arm naar het lichaam toe
bewegen in zijwaartse richting. - Rotator cuff spier, kapselspanner.

Origo Fossa en fascia infraspinata.

Insertie Middelste facet van het tuberculum majus van de humerus.



M. Latissimus dorsi
Functie - Retroflexie arm: de arm naar achteren bewegen. - Adductie arm: de arm naar het lichaam
toe bewegen in zijwaartse richting. - Endorotatie: de arm naar binnen draaien in het
schoudergewricht. - Detractie scapula: de schouderblad naar beneden trekken. - Nevenfunctie: hulp
bij een krachtige uitademing (hoest).
