Om goden gunstig te stemmen deden ze offers. Dat kon van alles zijn
o Dit gebeurde op een altaar, een soort hoge tafel.
o Altaren stonden voor de tempels. Tempel zelf was heilig. Alleen
priesters gingen daar naar binnen.
Grieken vertelden elkaar allerlei verhalen over goden, halfgoden en
helden.
o Deze godenverhalen heten mythen. Dat zijn een soort sprookjes
die werden naverteld en waar steeds nieuwe dingen bij werden
bedacht. Alle Griekse godenverhalen bij elkaar vormen de Griekse
mythologie
