I felt betrayed, but I contained my composer because this job was important to me and I wanted to succeed. I also had to realize that he may be a little on the late side but my boss was offering me redemption, which is a courtesy so I needed to be thankful. So thats what I did, I thanked him for his critiques and I told him I wouldn't let him down. Do you get frustrated or angry? - To me angry implies I am reacting strongly for inappropriately, when I become overwhelmed if I am able I ask to step out for a moment and I count backwards from 10, take some deep breaths, and think about things that bring me joy. This always to rethink the situation with a clearer head. For example, if deadlines and events start piling up on me, rather than getting frustrated, I take a moment, re-evaluate and re-prioritize and approach one thing at a time.
