Los analgésicos son uno de los grupos de medicamentos que mas se usan en nuestro país.
La palabra analgésico procede del griego a-/an- (carencia) y algos (dolor)
Podemos encontrarnos con dos tipos de color:
Dolor agudo: se deriva de una legión tisular y forma parte de la respuesta
defensiva del organismo. Desaparece con la desaparición (curación) de la
causa del dolor. Entre ellos podemos encontrarnos con los dolores del
posoperatorio, el dolor traumático, cefaleas tensionales, dolores dentales o
lumbalgias agudas
Dolor crónico: es aquel que continúa después de desaparecer la lesión, no
pudiendo asociarlo a un tejido concreto. Suele cursar con brotes. Entre los
ejemplos más comunes están: migrañas, dismenorreas, dolores neuropático
