Concealed pistol license (28.425f-g; 28.425o; 28.428) - ANS-A person who is licensed
to carry a concealed pistol or stun gun must:
- *Have* their license to carry and state ID *at all times* when carrying - *Show*
their license to carry and state ID to a peace officer *upon request* - Immediately
*disclose* the fact that they are carrying *when stopped* by a peace officer
*Note:* A pistol or stun gun carried in violation may be seized and forfeited.

- An entertainment facility with a capacity of 2,500 or more
- A hospital
- A college dorm or classroom

The county clerk can *suspend*, *revoke*, or *reinstate* a concealed pistol license if
ordered by a court or notified of a change in eligibility.
Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act of 2004 (18 USC 926B & 926C) - ANS-Qualified
law enforcement officers may carry a concealed firearm without a CPL, subject to
restrictions on private property or state laws restricting possession on government
property.

Michigan Retired Law Enforcement Officer's Firearm Carry Act of 2008 (28.511-527) -
ANS-Qualified retired law enforcement officers may obtain a CPL and be exempt from
the civilian pistol safety training course requirement and pistol-free zone restrictions.
Controlled Substance Act (333.7401-7404) - ANS-When a person *manufactures*,
*creates*, or *delivers* a controlled substance or prescription form or *possesses* a
controlled substance or prescription form *with intent* to do any of those things
(333.7401-7403).

Michigan Medical Marihuana Act of 2008 (333.26421 et. seq.) - ANS-A patient or
caregiver may possess up to *2.5 ounces* of marijuana, up to *12 plants*, or any
amount of *seeds*, *stalks*, and *unusable roots* if they possess a valid registry
identification card.
