Wrongful Convictions in the United States Justice System
This document is a sample project business letter for a highschool level sophomore, junior, or senior Criminology class. The topic is wrongful convictions and exonerations, of which are a pressing topic in the United States today. The meaning of the term “exoneration” is a conviction for a crime being reversed through demonstatrions of innocence, flaws in the orginal conviction, or other terms. The rate of exonerations has been rising in recent years, proving the justice system to be occasionally unreliable. The United States is showing a lack of accountability for police and prosecutors who have done their job without fully being immersed in the drive to choose justice over success.
