There are different tipsfor safe leafting.
For example, when I
want to lift a box I need
to make sure that I don’t
attempt to lift by
bending forward. I need
to bend my hips and
kness to sqaut down to
my load, keep it close to
my body and straight my
legh to list.
I must never lift a heavy
object above my
shoulder level because I
may lose the control and
I will hurt my hands as
well. Afterwards i need
to stay home because I
don’t feel well and then
I will lose money and I
will be behind with the
things that happens at
office. Addidinally, I need to avoid turning or twisting my body while lifting or holding the
box because I can break my back and I need to spend a few days in hospital or home
because I cant go to work with back promblems. Also, I have to tape the box so the things
that are inside will not fall down or break.
Furthermore, before lifting a photocopier I need to call people that are responsible of
moving the equipment from office. If the printer id big then there are supposed to be more
than 5 people as is difficult to move a big photocopier with only two people. Also, before
lifting the photocopiers they need to make sure that is not plugged in because they can’t
carry it if the cables are still plugged in. For more, they need to tighten the wires because
someone can prevent and will fall. They need to be sure that there are no stairs because
they can fall so maybe the photocopier fall over them and dangerous things can happen.
Also, even if they can run with the photocopier they don’t need to force themselves to walk
faster because they can prevent something if they are not checking properly if something is
on the floor.
Additionally, in the picture above I and one of my colleague try to lift a printer because we
want to move it. Before doing this we had to make sure that the printer is not plugged in
because the cable may brank and we can electrocute. After, we had to stick the cable at the
back of the printer with some tape so they will not be scattered. The place where we had to
move the printer had to be clean so we didn’t had to put the printer in the floor and then
lifting it back because we may not be careful and we can lift it wrong and we can break our
back. We didn’t move our legs and feet when turning or lowering the load because if we
twist when carrying we can increase the risk of back injury. Also, when we lift the printer we
used our legs. The fee were wide apart, head and back upright. WE had to keep abdominal
