Uitvoering tests:
1) met niet gelijknamige hand van recessus femoralis naar patelle toe druk
zetten (vocht aanvoeren richting patella), met andere hand van tuberositas
tibia eveneens druk uitoefenen tot patella. Met wijsvinger van gelijknamige
hand op het midden van patella drukken.
2) Eerst met dorsale zijde van gelijknamige hand langs de mediale zijde van de
knie een paar keer richting recessus femoralis wrijven
Daarna doe je met de andere hand hetzelfde langs de laterale zijde
Beoordelingscriteria:
1) kijken of patella op en neer kan bewegen normaal gesproken niet, je
drukt patella direct op femur
Indien dit wel het geval is zit er vocht in de knie/recessus femoralis
2) kijken of er bij het wrijven met de niet-gelijknamige hand vocht terugvloeit
naar de patella (bij een gezonde knie zal je dit niet zien)
indien dit wel het geval is, is dit ook weer een indicatie voor vocht in de
knie
