Atlas Air HR

Why do you want to work here. - ANS-Atlas has been in operation for about 25 years
and has grown from a single Boeing 747-200 to an ACMI
aircraft-crew-maintenance-insurance leading provider with a fleet size of about 90
aircraft. I also saw that Atlas is a publicly traded company with a strong financial health
outlook. I've also realized during my research that Atlas has been acquiring other ACMI
carriers to help facilitate its growth and secure its place in the market. Glancing over the
leadership bios leads me to believe that the people in management are some of the
best in the industry. This provides me with the confidence to know the company I fly for
will remain in business for many more years to come. It would also give me a great
sense of accomplishment and make me feel like my time is being put to good use
operating flights for the U.S. Air Force Air Mobility Command and humanitarian aid
organizations.

Why should we hire you? - ANS-I have a strong work ethic and was raised with
traditional good moral values. I generally have a laid back personality type allowing to
get along with everyone. My flying experience started 16 years ago. Aviation,
specifically flying is who I am. It defines me as a person. If you want someone who will
do their best to deliver results whatever the mission and has a natural born aptitude for
flying; then I am definitely a great fit for Atlas.

What was your worst day in aviation? - ANS-Place holder for now

What was your best day in aviation? - ANS-Upgrading to Captain here at GoJet.

Are you familiar with our schedules? - ANS-Yes. I've talked about the quality of life
aspect with an old co-worker of mine that's currently a first officer with Atlas.

How will your family deal with that? (schedule) - ANS-I'm divorced and living in
Lexington, KY because that's where my Daughter's roots are established. My family
lives in Chicago, Poland, Germany, United Kingdom and Scotland. I chose to live in
Lexington because that's the only way I can reasonably exercise joint custody and
remain a part of my daughter's life. I have a nonstandard family life and this schedule
would not have any negative impact on it.

How do you feel about being based in stansted? - ANS-Place holder for now

, Will you resign from United? - ANS-Yes.

Asked about availability? - ANS-----

Asked about flexibility? - ANS-----

What do you know about Atlas? - ANS-

Do you have an application anywhere else? - ANS-HW

What will you do if you get a job offer from us and someone else at the same time? -
ANS-ASK ABOUT THIS

I would respectfully decline the offer from someone else and happily accept an offer
from Atlas.

What do you know about our schedules? - ANS-About 17-20 days on, then 14 days off.

How do you feel about being on the road for up to 22 days? - ANS-It's not that much
different than what I do now. I bid for the first and last week of each month off and waive
my minimum 2 days off to get all the flying done in the middle. This gives me about 2
weeks off to pick up open-time and makes it easier to plan things at home.

How will your family handle you being gone for long periods of time? - ANS-

What is ACMI? - ANS-Aircraft Crew Maintenance Insurance

Have you ever flown ACMI before? - ANS-

Why Atlas? - ANS-

What are the crew rest requirements? - ANS-

What would you do if the captain shows up drunk and pushes you around? - ANS-ASK
WHAT TO SAY

If your fatigued to the point of being unsafe, would you still fly? - ANS-No. It is not safe
and no matter how inconvenient a fatigue call can be to everyone involved it is the best
option.
