LA INTELIGENCIAGeneralmente, el concepto de inteligencia hace referencia al vasto conjunto de facultades mentales del
individuo, en torno a la capacidad de reflexión, razonamiento y entendimiento de ciertas cuestiones
acomplejadas.
Normalmente, al hablar de este concepto abstracto, se alude a un único tipo de inteligencia, cuando, en
realidad, hay diez tipos: la inteligencia visual-espacial, la naturalista, la lógico-matemática, la lingüística, la
musical, la corporal-cinestésica, la creativa, la existencial, la intrapersonal y la interpersonal. En consecuencia,
es una destreza del intelecto difícilmente medible, a pesar de la variedad de escalas, pruebas y tests que
existen. Un ejemplo podría ser la escala de Wechsler de Inteligencia para Adultos (WAIS).
Hoy en día, hay una multiplicidad de métodos en cuanto a cómo ejercitar la inteligencia, por ejemplo: los
puzzles, la lectura, el aprendizaje de un nuevo idioma, la meditación y tantos otros más por mencionar.
