1. Inleiding
- Endocriene klieren + zenuwstelsel  gecoördineerd functioneren van het hele organisme
- Alle endocriene organen hebben gevensterde capillairen
- Centraal zenuwstelsel: via afferente en efferente zenuwen
- Endocriene klieren: via afgifte van hormonen ter hoogte van doelwitorgaan
o Afgifte van hormonen wordt aangestuurd vanuit centraal zenuwstelsel via neurale
verbindingen of via neurosecretie
- Hormonen= chemische boodschappers
o Afhankelijk van type hormoon gaan ze op verschillende manieren door een cel
worden opgenomen
o 3 groepen:
 Aminozuren: adrenaline op basis van tyrosine
 eiwitten/peptiden: insuline
 worden niet onmiddellijk door cel opgenomen maar binden aan
membraanreceptor  bindt aan G-Proteïne  bindt aan
adenlylcyclase  vorming cAMP= secundaire messenger (verbruik
ATP)  activatie protein kinase eiwitten  activatie/inhibitie andere
eiwitten
 steroïden: testosteron, cortison = lipidachtige hormonen
 kunnen onmiddellijk doorheen membraan  bindt op receptor 
invloed nucleus  mRNA wordt afgeschreven  naar ribosoom 
vormen van eiwit waardoor enzym synthese stijgt of daalt
o afgifte hormonen via endocriene kliercellen
 endocriene secretie: secreet afgeven in bloedbaan en vandaar naar target
orgaan
 paracriene secretie: hormoon in onmiddellijke omgeving vrijstellen
 hormonen binden op receptoren van naburige cellen (APUT cellen
van spijsbuis)
 autocriene secretie: hormoon in onmiddellijke omgeving vrijstellen
 cellen produceren hormonen die binden op receptoren van die cel
waardoor deze geactiveerd wordt
 bijvoorbeeld cytokines
o afgifte hormonen via neurosecretoire cellen= afgifte van hormonen door
veranderede zenuwcellen <-> epitheelachtig weefsel
 neurosecretie: uiteinde van veranderede zenuwcellen geeft secreet af aan
bloedbaan (dus niet aan synaps)
