cognitive levels used for assessment in the Natural Science and Technology curriculum. According to the
document, Bloom's taxonomy is a framework that categorizes learning objectives into six cognitive
levels: Remembering, Understanding, Applying, Analyzing, Evaluating, and Creating (Department of
Basic Education, 2011).

The Remembering level involves recalling facts, concepts, and procedures, while the Understanding
level requires learners to comprehend and interpret information. The Applying level involves using
learned concepts to solve problems, and the Analyzing level requires learners to break down
information into component parts. The Evaluating level involves making judgments about the value or
