, Inleiding
Voordat de elementen opgesteld kunnen worden moet de kaakrelatie
t.o.v. elkaar worden bepaald. Er moet worden vastgesteld wat de juiste
relatie in horizontale en verticale zin is en die vastleggen. Hierna
worden de gebitsmodellen gemonteerd in de articulator en worden de
elementen opgesteld door de tandtechnicus.
Voordat de relatie tussen beide kaken wordt bepaald moet eerst de
relatie van de bovenkaak t.o.v. de schedel vastgesteld worden. Dit moet
om het bovenmodel goed in de articulator te zetten. Hierna moet de
rusthoogte en beethoogte bepaald worden (verticale relatie vastleggen:
rusthoogte - freewayspace). Hierna wordt de positie van de onderkaak
in transversale en sagittale richting bepaald. Hierbij wordt uitgegaan
van de CR en wordt gebruik gemaakt van de pijlpuntsregistratie.
