Origen nacen en la fosa temporal
hasta la línea temporal
inferior, fascia temporal.

Porción anterior: eleva la
mandíbula.
Acción o función Porción posterior: retrae la
mandíbula.




Musculo Esternocleidomastoideo.

Cara lateral del cuello.
Superior: cara anterior del
Región manubrio interior.
Borde superior y cara
anterior: tercio medial de la
clavícula.

En la apófisis mastoidea
Origen del hueso temporal, la cual
está detrás del orificio
auditivo externo.
