Pueblos Prerromanos.Tartessos del siglo XII al VI a.C. Se desarrolló en el Bajo Guadalquivir,
en el sur de la península. Cada ciudad tenía su rey. Su sociedad estaba
dividida en terratenientes, comerciantes, otros hombres libres y
esclavos. Su economía se basaba en la agricultura y el comercio. Sus
mejores años fueron con el rey Argantonio. Llegó a su fin tras el control
Cartaginés del Mediterráneo Occidental.
Celtas del siglo X al I a.C. De origen indoeuropeo se asentaron en el
norte, centro y oeste de la Península. Estaban gobernados por la
aristocracia y asambleas populares. Su sociedad se basaba en la familia,
el clan y la tribu, y la Confederación en la guerra. Su economía se
basaba en la agricultura, ganadería y metalurgia.
Íberos del siglo VI al II a.C. Pueblo autóctono que se asentaron en el
sur y este de la Península, desde los Pirineos hasta Gibraltar. Su
sociedad era tribal, se dividía en cuatro grupos; el rey y la aristocracia,
guerreros y comerciantes, agricultores y ganaderos y los esclavos. Sus
relaciones eran de dependencia, clientela en la paz y devotio en la
guerra. Su economía se basaba en la agricultura de secano, ganadería
trashumante, minería y comercio. Tenían un idioma común escrito.
