Tema 4. Las vanguardias en Europa, España eHispanoamérica
Desde la I Guerra Mundial hasta 1930 los jóvenes artistas de España e
Hispanoamérica promueven un arte renovador, que se verá reflejado
en nuevos movimientos, denominados Vanguardias.
Existió un optimismo impulsado por el deseo de olvidar los horrores
de la guerra. Pronto esta situación entrará en declive por el desastre
económico del 29 y las tensiones políticas y económicas que
desembocaran en la II Guerra Mundial.
Las vanguardias artísticas son provocativas, rompen con lo
establecido, renuevan el contenido, abarcan todas las artes y se
clasifican en -ismos. Los movimientos de vanguardias se extenderán
por Europa e Hispanoamérica. En Europa, es importante destacar el
futurismo, el cubismo, el dadaísmo y el surrealismo.
El futurismo, liderado por Tommaso Marinetti, realza los avances y la
vida moderna, incluyendo maquinas, la gran ciudad y la guerra, con
un carácter apocalíptico como en su obra Zang Tumb Tumb
El cubismo, se ve influenciado en la literatura a través del poeta
Guillaume Apollinaire. Sus caligramas, reflejan una fusión entre
imagen y palabra, priorizando lo visual sobre lo auditivo.
El dadaísmo, liderado por Tristan Tzara, se reivindica la falta de
lógica, un lenguaje incoherente y sin preocupaciones sociales ni
morales.
El surrealismo, liderado por André Breton, busca expresar este
mundo a través de los sueños y la escritura automática.
En Hispanoamérica, las vanguardias europeas influyeron y surgieron
tendencias propias como el creacionismo y el ultraísmo, liderados por
Vicente Huidobro. El creacionismo, destaca por su capacidad creadora
mediante imágenes yuxtapuestas y el ultraísmo se centra en el uso de
la metáfora.
