Leverlobules : hexagonale eenheden zeshoekige structuur met hepatische vene in
, centrum en portale triade op de hoeken
Koorden van hepatocyten reiken van de hepatische vene naar buitenranden lobule
De portale triade omvat op zijn beurt
- Lever arterie (tak van de arteria hepatica)
- Interlobulaire vene of poortader
- Galweg
Tussenliggende bestaat uit hepatocyten &sinusoïden die draineren richting centrale vene
In sinusoïden treedt vermenging op van aterieel bloed met bloed uit de poortader
Bloed wordt bewerkt door de hepatocyten en afgevoerd via de centrale vene
Gal wordt gesecreteerd door de hepatocyten in galcanaliculi, dewelke draineren in de
galwegen
