1.1. Anatomie
1.1.1.Het urinestelsel
Verantwoordelijk voor productie, opslag en excretie
van urine
Bestaat uit :
- Nieren : filteren bloed om afvalstoffen,
overtollige zouten en water te verwijderen
vorming urine
- Urineleiders (ureters) : urine van nieren via
urineleiders naar blaas
- Urineblaas : urine tijdelijk opslaan totdat het uit
lichaam wordt verwijderd
- Urethra : urine vanuit de blaas naar buiten
(korten bij vrouwen en tussen vagina en clitoris)

Opgedeeld in :
- Nierkapsel : buitenste laag nier
- Nierschors en niermerg : schors buitenste
deel (betrokken bij filtratie bloed) ,
medulla dieper (in schors en merg liggen
nefronen)
- Nefronen : functionele eenheden
- Nierbekken : urine opvangen en naar
urether doorvoeren
- Urineleider (urether) : urine van nier naar
blaas transporteren
- Nierbloedvaten : arteria renalis en vena
renalis

, 1.1.4.De glomerulaire membraan
Door unieke bouw en eigenschappen van glomerulus kunnen alleen kleinere
moleculen er doorheen. Bloedcellen, bloedplaatjes en grotere eiwitten niet
Glomerulaire capillairen zijn bekleed met endotheelcellen en fenestraties
Onder dit endotheel bevindt zich het basale membraan dat bestaat uit :
- De lamina rara interna
- De lamina densa
- De lamina rara externa
Membraan fungeert als filter en is betrokken bij selectief doorlaten van stoffen op
basis van grootte en lading
Buiten het basale membraan bevinden zich podocyten omhulsel en bevatten
kleine openingen (slits of voetjes) die voetjes zorgen voor verdere regulatie van de
filtratie
