completed unification in 1871), Europe would aggressively partake on the Scramble for
Africa. European Nations fought for territories in the African continent, this led to
tensions, and to the creation of alliances between nations. This colonialist policies and
their impacts would eventually lead to WWI. Here is a brief timeline of the main events:
