A Student of Cosmetology may complete the course in X months - ANS-10 Months
A student or Licensee shall not do any of the following: - ANS-*use lump alum or styptic
pencil to stop bleeding
*Carry tools, implements, supplies in uniform pockets
* An esthetician shall not use razors, scissors or clippers on the face or head of patron.
Age requirement Electrology Exam - ANS-18 years
Age Requirement Esthetician, Cosmetology, Manicurist Exam - ANS-17 years
All Students Must Wear - ANS-A uniform and Nametag
An Apprentice of Cosmetology Must Complete X months before applying to the Board -
ANS-24 months
An Instructor who transfers to another school - ANS-Shall notify the Board within 5 days

attempt to engage in an occupation regulated u der this act unless they possess a
license or registration issued by the department
*A school or institution shall not operate unless licensed by the department.

of not more than $500.00 or imprisonment for not more than 90 days or both.

Cosmetology Student Can Practice on the General Public - ANS-After Completing 350
hours
Cosmetology Trainer Program Length - ANS-500 hours
Creams and semi-solids removal - ANS-shall be done with a clean spatula
Dry Sanitizer - ANS-Closed cabinet or container holding a fumigant chemical sanitizing
agent. (After wet sanitizer tools stored in dry sanitizer)
Electrologists Training Program Length - ANS-400 hours
Enrollment reporting - ANS-*Must be reported within 6o days after start
if transferring, you must complete all applicable tests, number of ours, number of MPAs
completed.
