Entrepreneurial organization

Structure:
Simple, small, young. Flat hierarchy (as the picture shows)
Informal & flexible. It is simple to outsmart the bureaucracy, because it is
fast to change because of the flatness.
There is one whole: the boss + everyone else. Everybody is in the same
lamp (the boss a little bit higher)

Power relationship:
Power relationships are centralized in the leaders hands. The leader is the
visioner. Power concentrated to the hands of the CEO
However, roles go beyond functions. You are invited to think further than
your function this means that organizational members are encouraged to
get a role in the organization: contribution of different roles within the
organization (Sales and R&D)
Minimal bureaucracy and formal policies are part of the organization.

Change:
Change can be fast.
This one goes to the life-cycle type of changes.

Highly structured and formalized. The work is specialized & standardized
work, so there is no rotation of roles (activities are determined by your
function. Everything is structured. (very contrasting to entrepreneurial
organization!).
