, Guidelines from the author:
1. Before you try to smash your skull on the wall, shoot yourself in the head or find
some creative to kill yourself over the number of pages this notebook contains; I
would like to share with you the GOOD NEWS that half of them are empty and they
are for a reason.
2. Who are these notes for?
THIS BOOK IS NOT FOR THE LAST MINUTERS.
It is for those who have read and understood the textbook at least once in their
lifetime! These notes are kinda like a summary of the textbook and highlights the
important section (or at least what I thought was important!).
3. Where did I get my information from?
They are from a variety of other notes and resources shared to me by my teachers
and mostly from the textbook. The David Sang AS-level physics textbook to be
specific. I have read many textbooks throughout my course and would recommend
this specific one as it was the only one which I could understand and had a decent
number of pictures. In other words, it was simple and not boring! However, you do
have the freewill to choose any textbook you are comfortable with.
4. How to use the notes?
If you are viewing this on your devices, I’d recommend using a pdf reader and
turning on the two-page view. Having a hard copy is very much appreciated! The
chapters are in the order that is followed by the textbook. The writing is color coded
for visual aesthetics and differentiation of chapters, headings, sub-headings, etc.
For example: the definitions will be colored red. Information on the left-hand side of
the notebook are personal notes taken when I was solving past papers. They
contain specific definitions required by examiners or information that was important
sand previously I had not come across. The line on which the notes are on the left-
hand side is related to the information on that same line on the right-hand side.
Most of the times, you may find blank spaces on the left-hand side. This is for your
personal notes or information you may want to add.
5. Like you, I am also a human being! I am prone to making mistakes. If ever you feel
confused or find the information to be wrong, please consult your teachers first and
do not hesitate to make the necessary changes
6. Lastly, if you have no idea on how to begin with your revision, I would advice you to
read one chapter from the textbook, then read the notes on that chapter and then
proceed to answer all past paper questions related to that chapter and proceed in
the same manner for the rest of the chapters.
