1 Bloeddonatie
1.1Procedure van bloeddonatie
Producten:

1.2Wetgeving
1.2.1 “Wet betreffende bloed en bloedderivaten van menselijke oorsprong
Doel = overdracht vermijden van micro-organismen
Voorwaarden voor bloeddonatie:
- Vrijwillig
- Niet vergoed
- 18-.... (starten voor 66)
- Donor moet min 50kg wegen
- Informatiefolder voor donatie
- “geen risicogedrag”
- Staal wordt getest op HIV, hep B&C, syfilis

1.3Volbloeddonatie
Één zakje bloed geven = meer dan één zorgontvanger helpen
⇒ Tegenwoordig krijgt de zorgontvanger alleen het bloedbestanddeel dat hij nodig heeft
→ Afgenomen bloed wordt in 3 delen gesplitst:
- Plasma
- Rode bloedcellen
- Bloedplaatsjes
500 ml volbloed:
- Één eenheid plasma
- Buffy coat (TBC, WBC)
- Één eenheid erytrocyten
2 Aderlating
In meeste gevallen bestaat de behandeling van primaire hemochromatose uit een flebotomie
of aderlating
→ Aderlating (of bloeddonatie): onttrekken van bloed aan het lichaam
⇒ Lichaam reageert door aanmaken van nieuw bloed → ijzer nodig
→ Lichaam onttrekt dit aan het in lichaam opgeslagen ijzer, waardoor
het teveel aan opgeslagen ijzer daalt
→ Daling van hoeveelheid opgeslagen ijzer leidt tot daling van het
ferritinegehalte en transferrineverzadiging

,Afhankelijke van een aantal medische factoren (ferritinegehalte, conditie zorgontvanger, …)
bepaalt een arts de intensiteit van het aderlaten
→ Kan oplopen tot 500 ml per 1-2 weken
⇒ Intensieve periode gaat door totdat ferritinegehalte is gedaald tot onder
50µg/l
Bij zorgontvangers met een klein bloedvolume is aderlating een efficiënte procedure, bij
zorgontvangers met groot bloedvolume is het verschil in hematocriet niet groot genoeg →
aangeraden therapeutische erythrocytapherese
