Tema 6; La dimensión ética del ser humano
1) ¿qué es la felicidad para la ética hedonista?
Afirma que el placer es el principio y el fin de la vida feliz. El bien supremo para
los hedonistas es la autosuficiencia: saber contentarse con poco para no ser
esclavo de la necesidad y estar libre de dolor. La felicidad consiste en una vida
sencilla.
2) ¿en qué consiste la felicidad para los estoicos?
El ideal del sabio:
o Comprender que la libertad es el sometimiento a la necesidad y aceptarla.
o Alcanzar la ataraxia, imperturbabilidad del alma

Se trata de una ética de autodominio, motivada por la necesidad de neutralizar el
sufrimiento.

3) ¿qué es la virtud según Aristóteles?

Para encontrar la felicidad en el ser humano, él debe centrarse en lo que es propio
del ser humano; en la facultad intelectiva:

La felicidad estará en la vía contemplativa: pensar todo el rato en la filosofía para
desarrollar virtudes dianéticas.

o Drama del ser humano: no puede estar todo el día pensando en la filosofía.
Tengo necesidades corporales y sociales (comer, trabajar…) Nunca seré
absolutamente feliz.
4) Virtudes éticas: Son virtudes prácticas, permiten ganar tiempo para la vida
contemplativa. No seremos absolutamente felices pero seremos felices durante más
tiempo.
a. Es un hábito, se ejercita.
b. Regido por la prudencia, he tenido que pensar.
c. Término medio: entre dos extremos
d. Es personal: depende de las circunstancias de cada uno
(Un amigo me pide dinero, si le doy 0,50 soy tacaño; si le doy 1500 soy
derrochado; si le doy 500 soy generoso)

5) Ley Natural; Santo Tomás de Aquino
Ley natural: Dios, cuando naces, pone la ley natural en tu alma.
La ley natural es una regla moral que Dios ha puesto en los seres humanos para
que puedan actuar moralmente y puedan ir al cielo. Respeta la libertad de cada
individuo, puedes ignorarla.
Precepto principal: haz el bien y evita el mal
Preceptos secundarios: Dios puso un precepto por cada función del alma
Función vegetativa; conservar la vida
Función sensitiva; procrear y educar
Función racional; buscar la verdad y justicia social

Todas las sociedades tienden a cumplir estos preceptos, sino se destruyen.
