Aircraft Airworthiness
An aircraft is required tob e in an Airworthy state in order to perform a flight.
Certificate of Airworthiness (CofA): in respect of an aeronautical product, means in a fit and safe state
for flight and in conformity with its type design.
To remain in an airworthy state all requirements for maintenance, repair and alterations are
performed according to regulations.
The regulations say that the owner is responsible for the maintenance of an aircraft.
