1. CONDICIONALESLas oraciones condicionales están formadas por la condición (if) y el resultado.
Cuando la condición va al principio, debe ir seguida de una coma.
Unless equivale a if not (a no ser que, a manos que, si no), o se niega el verbo de la condición.
Unless se suele usar en el cero y en el primero, es menos frecuente en el segundo y nunca en el
tercero.
*El verbo to be aparece como were para todas las personas.
o ZERO CONDITIONAL
USO: verdades generales o hechos. Siempre pasa.
FÓRMULA: If + present simple + , present simple. Pueden utilizarse los verbos modales.
EJEMPLOS:
o FIRST CONDITIONAL
USO: posibilidad futura, consejos, avisos.
FÓRMULA: If/Unless + present simple + , will/won’t + verb in base form.
EJEMPLOS: If you study, you will pass the exam.
o SECOND CONDITIONAL
USO: situaciones hipotéticas en el futuro, situaciones imaginarias, poco posible-imposible.
FÓRMULA: If + past simple + , would/could + verb in base form.
EJEMPLOS: If I were you, I would eat better. If I won the lottery, I could buy a car.
o THIRD CONDITIONAL
USO: situación del pasado la cual no puede cambiar, situación imposible.
FÓRMULA: If + past perfect (had verb -ed o 3ª columna) + , would + have + verb -ed o 3ª columna.
EJEMPLOS: If she hadn’t drunk at the party, she wouldn’t have been ill.
Si es una oración interrogativa, se suele poner primero el resultado.
0: No suelen ser frecuentes las preguntas en este tipo.
1º: Will you pass if you study hard?
2º: Would you buy a car if you won the lottery?
3º: Would she have been ill if she hadn’t drunk?
Aunque no significa que no pueda ir al revés.
*If she hadn’t drunk, would she have been ill?

Se suelen usar en el Zero o First Conditional para remplazar “if” y están seguidas de Present
Simple. Algunas son: when, as soon as, until, before, after, while…
o WISH / IF ONLY (se traduce como ojalá)
1 Form: I wish or if only + past simple
Use: para referirse a una situación del presente que se querría mejorar o cambiar.
Ejemplo: I wish / If only our town had more vegan restaurants.
2 Form: I wish or if only + past perfect simple
Use: para mostrar arrepentimiento de una situación pasada.
Ejemplo: I wish / If only we had gone to hospital on time.
3 Form: I wish or if only + could or would + verb in base form
Use: un deseo para algo en el futuro.
Ejemplo: I wish we could do something to help you.
If only people would stop eating meet.

2. VOZ PASIVA Y ACTIVA
Una oración en voz activa se centra en la persona que realiza la acción. Está formada por tres
elementos:
- Sujeto que realiza la acción.
- Verbo conjugado.
- Complemento directo o indirecto sobre el que recae la acción.
Por ejemplo: I sent a letter
Una oración en voz pasiva se centra en la persona que recibe la acción. Está formada por tres
elementos:
- Sujeto que recibe la acción.
- Verbo to be conjugado, más el participio del verbo principal.
- Complemento agente introducido por la preposición by.
Por ejemplo: The road was built by the builder.
