o Spiervezeltypen
1. Type 1 > slow twitch, rode vezels voor duuractiviteit. Goede doorbloeding.
2. Type 2x > fast twitch, witte vezels voor explosieve activiteit. Minder O2.
3. Type 2a > intermediaire vezels voor (an)aerobe stofwisseling met glucose-
verbranding. Minder snel vermoeid.

1. Koolhydraten > glucose
2. Vetten (FFA) > vrije vetzuren
3. Eiwitten (BCAA) > aminozuren (kan door hersenbarrière)

o Anaerobe fosforylering
Creatinefosfaat komt via het bloed de spiervezel in en geeft één fosfaatgroep af
aan ADP. Er ontstaat ATP en creatinine wat als afvalstof door het bloed wordt
afgevoerd. Beperkte hoeveelheid creatinefosfaat dus snel uitgeput. 10 seconden
te gebruiken.
o Anaerobe glycolyse
Twee glucosemoleculen (bloedglucose of spierglycogeen) worden in cytoplasma
omgezet in twee pyrodruivenzuurmoleculen en twee ATP. Pyrodruivenzuur
wordt omgezet in lactaat wat deels wordt afgevoerd en deels in de spiercel
blijft. 45 seconden te gebruiken. Verzuring omdat er bij splitsing H+ vrijkomt
(dus niet door lactaat).
o Aerobe krebscyclus
Glucose wordt in twee pyrodruivenzuurmoleculen gesplitst. Deze wordt in
Acetyl-CoA en een koolstofatoom gesplitst. Acetyl-CoA wordt omgezet in CO2,
H2O en 36 ATP.
