Dit deeltentamen staat in het teken van de Canadian Medical Education Directions for Specialists
(CanMEDS)-rollen: “de samenwerkingspartner” en “de organisator”. Bij deze rollen staat de
competentie “multidisciplinair samenwerken” beschreven (Lambergts, Grotendorst, & Van Merwijk,
2016). In dit verslag wordt op een gestructureerde manier de voorbereiding en uitvoering van het
multidisciplinair overleg (MDO) op een kinderafdeling uitgewerkt. Het verslag is opgebouwd uit
verschillende hoofdstukken. In hoofdstuk 1 wordt de setting, de functie en de deelnemende
disciplines van het MDO omschreven. Vervolgens wordt in hoofdstuk 2 de casuïstiek in kaart
gebracht. Het MDO wordt uitgewerkt in hoofdstuk 3, en de uitkomst hiervan in hoofdstuk 4.
Tenslotte wordt in hoofdstuk 5 de reflectie beschreven volgens de cirkel van Korthagen (Korthagen,
2019).
