, Purpose of CSR:
According to our readings, corporate social responsibility is conceptualized as a pyramid with
four types of responsibilities: economic, legal, ethical, and philanthropic. All of these
responsibilities promote the human wellbeing supported by financial contributions forming
quality products and services. Since all information is on our fingertips, today’s world is highly
connected. Corporations, organizations, and small firms are finding out very fast that social
responsibility is essential for business success. As employees, we are required to behave ethically
during working hours and even beyond those hours. For employees to do what is ethical we need
to see examples of what that is. Corporate social responsibility is extremely important today.
Corporations should behave, openly communicate, be transparent, honest, and support its
employees and the community in the same way. When corporations are behaving differently,
saying one thing but acting the other way is then when corporations fail. To be successful and to
be competitive, corporations need to have immense understanding of corporate social
responsibility. Understanding this and being socially healthy will produce better and more
productive employees, and productive employees make the business transaction possible i.e. they
grow the business. Corporate social responsibility helps organizations long term success.

1. Two primary & secondary stakeholders:
Primary stakeholders are the employees and the customers, secondary stakeholders are the
general public and toy industry associations. These stakeholders can directly and indirectly effect
the success and failure of the organization.

2. Two-way analysis:
To meet the stakeholders’ corporate social responsibility, Paradigm Toys could work and
establish recycling initiative. Everything in the stores like paper, plastic from the boxes, receipts
can be recycled and reused in the stores. This initiative will show their stakeholders that the
Paradigm Toys is implementing an eco-friendly policy and is being consciences on the impact it
makes. Employees tend to be drawn to organizations who are doing good just because they want
to have good impact on the community.
For the secondary stakeholders, Paradigm Toys can implement toys for kids donation outreach.
Paradigm Toys can donate all toys that potentially can be manufactured from the recycling
