Tema 4. El mercado.1. El mercado y la demanda. El mercado es un conjunto de actividades de compraventa de ByS por
vendedores (oferentes) y compradores (demandantes).
- Demanda.
- ¿Qué es? La cantidad de un bien que están dispuestos a adquirir los demandantes a un P concreto.
- ¿Qué factores la condicionan? Q"! = f (Px, Py, R, G, Tm, Exp).
- 𝐐𝐝𝐱 : cantidad demandada del bien x.
- F (): en función de, depende…
- Px: precio del bien en cuestión.
- Py: precio de bienes relacionados y con x.
- Bien sustitutivo. Sustituye al bien anterior (x), satisface la misma necesidad.
- Bien complementario. Complementa al bien en cuestión, se consume conjuntamente, no
de manera individual.
- R: renta del consumidor. Ingresos que tiene una persona. Es subjetivo.
- G: gustos y preferencias. Es subjetivo. Si ↑ el G por algo ® ↑Q"! .
- Tm: tamaño del mercado. Las exp positivas de ¯P ® ↑Q"! y viceversa.
- Exp: expectativas sobre P, Q. + grande mercado, mayor demanda.
- ¿Cómo representarla? Tenemos muchas variables y no las podemos representar en
una gráfica de dos ejes, como solución: “ceteris paribus” (todo los demás permanece
constante), es decir, cuando los factores son diferentes el precio no varía, la curva no varía. Cuando esta
condición se rompe, porque cambia alguno de los factores diferentes al precio, varía la curva
- Movimientos y desplazamientos.
- Movimientos (dentro de la curva). Solo varía el P del bien. Izquierda: ↑Px ® ¯Q"! . Derecha:
¯Px ® ↑Q"! .
- Desplazamiento. Cuando hay una variación en un factor diferente al Px. Izquierda: ↑Q"! .
Derecha: ¯Q"! .
2. La oferta.
- ¿Qué es? La cantidad que están dispuestos a ofrecer los vendedores a un precio concreto. Se analiza de
forma individual, sin tener la demanda en cuenta.
- ¿Qué factores la condicionan? Q%! = f (Px, Pbs, Pfp, Tec, Tm, Exp).
- 𝐐𝐨𝐱 : cantidad ofertada del bien x.
- Px: precio del bien en cuestión. ↑Px ® ↑Q%! ® Ley de oferta.
- Pbs: precio de los bienes sustitutivos de producción. ↑Pbs ® ¯Q%! .
- Pfp: precio de los FP. ↑Pfp ® ¯Q%! .
- Tec: tecnología. Mejora, desarrollo, aumento ® ↑Q%! .
- Tm: tamaño del mercado. Mientras + grande sea el mercado, mayor oferta.
- Exp: expectativas. Exp es positiva ® ↑Q%! . Ejemplo: aumento de los B del P, comprar algo cuando
está barato y ↑Px, venderlo.
- ¿Cómo representarla?
- Movimientos y desplazamientos.
