,Executive summary
This report will emphasize the business project of the multinational food and beverage
company Nestlé. According to the report, Nestlé's main problem is the fierce price competition in
the food and beverage sector brought on by many domestic and international competitors. This
makes it difficult to maintain competitive pricing while ensuring product quality and
profitability, develop effective pricing strategies, strike a balance between cost-cutting measures,
and differentiate offerings. The report aimed to assess these problems objectively and determine
how they affect Nestlé's expansion, market competition, and sustainability in the USA market.
The report examined Nestlé's competitive environment, internal capabilities, and strategic
positioning using Porter's Five Forces Model and the Marketing Mix Framework. The report will
strongly emphasize the impact of issues on the stakeholders at Nestlé through stakeholder matrix
framework. Nestlé's pricing policies and requirement for environmentally friendly operations
impact suppliers. The critical assessment emphasizes Nestlé's need to prioritize product
innovation, embrace dynamic pricing strategies, develop distribution channels, implement
integrated marketing communication, spend money on employee training, and optimize the
supply chain. By implementing these suggestions, Nestlé will be better able to compete in the
market, maintain growth, and meet changing customer demands while creating good stakeholder
relationships. Intense price rivalry in the food and beverage business, driven by international and
local competitors, discount shops, and online marketplaces, is identified in this report as Nestlé's
main challenge. Secondary data of company is critically evaluated in the report to analyze the
issue. Marketing mix framework is used in the report for giving different suggestion to the
organization related to the issue of intense price competition. Use value-based pricing to
determine rates based on the customer's perceived value, enabling Nestlé to defend higher prices
for particular goods. Use data analytics for tailored pricing to increase sales and keep customers.
An integrated marketing communication strategy can increase brand visibility and customer
engagement by utilizing influencers, digital marketing, and social media campaigns. Investing in
employee training and development can encourage a culture of creativity and inclusion while
giving your staff the tools they need to improve your products and satisfy your customers.
Streamline supply chain operations to cut costs and promote sustainability. To meet consumer
expectations, use environmentally friendly techniques and sustainable sourcing.
