Please note that these are my personal assignments for the module (assignments 2-8).
Please note that I have combined all my assignments, notes about understand the assignments and provided
examples; therefore, certain tips may be repeated.

ASSIGN 2: Kant
ASSIGN 3: about the outcome. It’s all about consequences-Consequentialism
ASSIGN 4: ME, ME, ME!
ASSIGN 5: Fair’s Fair- Distributive Justice
ASSIGN 6: "Greenies" - Environmental Ethics. "SAVE THE RHINO!"
ASSIGN 7: SUSTAINABILITY?
ASSIGN 8: "GREED IS GOOD!"

An example of how to effectively debate for all assignments not just assign 2 (Style in how to do it- look at
how I have done it) - this also has other students' work - PLEASE DO NOT COPY word for word anything
that I have provided- unisa is very strict and i have helped others so they have this information as well.

, Your assignment format can be written in different ways- the MAIN thing is that you break down what the
question requires off you and make sure you answer all parts of the question- this is for all the assignments.
NOT JUST 1 OR 2 ANSWER SENTENCES PER QUESTION- they want to see your thinking.
When debating - do not let your emotions gets the better of you - be smart in the way you debate and choose
your words carefully- ensure you have some evidence if possible to support your debate. They want to see
this in your assignment and debate that you argue effectively.

In my assignment - I have sources consulted- you are free to use those sites to have a better understanding if
needed.

Again, unisa has strict disciplinary actions if caught copying- I cannot stress it enough =do not get
copy/plagiarize.

Tips- sus port
-try and comment on at least 12/20 of the questions (or more)
-start with some googled research to support your view of what it was before or/and why it changed- after
you done adding your googled information (in your own words) ADD YOUR OPINION- add your thoughts
and feelings relevant to that question - then try and link them to the concepts mentioned in the previous 8
assignments- just pick 1 or 2 concepts to link it too (just to show you understand the work)- remember
justifying your options are very important- be creative and passionate and believe in what you type
-Again- others have my portfolio as well- so do not copy- I stress this point again- please do not copy
- Please do not to use my sources consulted (where possible)- find your own and make the portfolio your
own- it will decrease the chances of your portfolio being like a mirror to mine
- be creative with your conclusion- my conclusion is 2 pages typed- write about what each assign taught
you+ how you feel + your thoughts + other concepts that you know about that may be relevant+ what is your
opinion on this module (be nice and positive) and use stories or examples if needed to explain your point.
- This is your last chance to boost your marks- give it your absolute best (from my knowledge there is no
page limit to the portfolio- so do not be afraid to type away – just ensure whatever you type is relevant-
please ensure that you answer whatever other instructions mentioned

- Please take note that your format is correct

Some debating examples:
Person A: thats correct but the reality the majority people when they are at work they look up to their
CEOs.just like Whitey Basson he use to look up to Raymond Ackerman and Renier van Rooyen,so look at
him now. Person B (this person is referring to me), you suffer for succees my friend, suffering its a driving
force to greater things because it takes you out of your comfort zone to do greater things.

My response: I don't think suffering is a driving force. It is goals that one sets for themselves that motivate
them.It is that burning desire to want and do better.I do agree, that you have to come out of your comfort
zone in order to achieve what you want. Working hard is not suffering , it a learning process. I believe one
should never look at it in a negative light ,such as suffering. It is usually what teaches some of us to
appreciate the things we have ,after longing for it, cause we know how hard we worked to achieve it.
This is just my view point.

Example 2
My comment on another’s assignment: Good day,
