- Denk aan je eerste herinnering, hoe oud was je toen?
- Kinderamnesie: voor de leeftijd 3-4-5j hebben we bijzonder weinig herinneringen
opgeslagen (geheugen niet voldoende volgroeid voor permanente herinneringen)
- Reminiscentiebult: piek, mensen kunnen heel veel herinneringen rapporteren van
onze leeftijd (we presteren nu cognitief op top niveau) + veel ‘eerste keer’
herinneringen (unief, kot, relatie)
- Recente gebeurtenissen: meer rapporteren, vers in geheugen, niet te lang geleden
Eerste geheugenexperimenten
- Ebbinghaus
- Zinloze lettergrepen
(instuderen, geen woorden want anders koppelen)
- Herinnering obv 1ste letter in juiste volgorde (cued recall)
- Op verschillende tijdstippen bv na 1u, 1w, 1m
- Conclusie:
Besparingsmethode (bespaart op het leven omdat je al iets heb geleerd)
- Hoeveel beurten om lijst opnieuw te leren?
Initieel leren bv 7 beurten nodig
Herleren bv 4 beurten nodig (bepaalde dingen bleven hangen v vorige keer)
- 3 beurten uitgespaard = BESPARING (we vergeten eerst snel, dan langzaam)
