Algemene psychologie H9: psychopathologie- = wetenschap die zich bezighoudt met aard, totstandkoming en mogelijke
behandeling en preventie van mentale stoornissen (medisch model)

- Patroon gedachten, gevoelens en gedrag

1) Statistisch
- Grote afwijking M

2) Sociaal
- Overtreding sociale norm
- Afhankelijk v cultuur/tijdsgeest of bep gedrag aanvaard wordt/ of gezien wordt als
mentale aandoening! (bv homoseksualiteit)
3) Persoonlijk
- Chronisch lijden (kan omgeving zijn) of gedrag wordt als schadelijk/nutteloos
ervaren

- Geen enkel criterium op zich is waterdicht
- Maar samen omvatten ze grote meerderheid mentale stoornissen
