Super Bowl 2023 had 26 long-form commercials. Advertisers paid $7 million dollars for the privilege to place
those 30 second advertisements in the game. In addition to the game itself, the Super Bowl commercials receive
a lot of attention from the audience and the media.
As stated in your textbook, “propaganda is no-holds-barred use of communication to propagate specific beliefs
and expectations.” Marketers use propaganda techniques in connecting with audiences to persuade them to
purchase their product or service.
For this assignment, you are to select from the Super Bowl advertisements 10 long-form commercials to
analyze. Use the Seven Propaganda Techniques from the Textbook’s Chapter 4 to examine each commercial,
identifying which technique (or combination of techniques) the marketers used. Upload your paper using the
