Unit 26: Work Based Experience BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Sport
Task 3: Reflection Report
The reflection of my interview on how it went, when I was talking to the employer in the
interview.
Strengths:
I Managed to use good examples and link in the skills with it which I was able to back up
what I say in the interview which is good in my opinion that I did that as they would not be
able to argue with it, also it sounds like I know what I was talking about as I was talking
about it.
I think another strength was that I was able to talk with confidence within the interviewer as
when the employer was asking me things in the interview, I was able to answer the
questions well ask I would not rush into them so quick I would pause and the think and then
answer which looks like I was thinking and was confident in myself when talking to the
employer which should that I was able to answer the questions with confidence.
Last strength was I was able to go in the interview and be able to give a strong frame
handshake, I had a good posture that should I was interested in the job and I wanted to be
there. Which has given the employer a good impression as a candidate for the job role!
Weakness/Areas for improvement:
Next time I could potentially bring some awards, achievements and certificates so when I
talk in the interview I could hand them to see for themselves/ back up what I say in the
interview. Which I think that would be really good as it will be more believable as I won’t be
making things up.
At times I was going off track which some of the things that I say are off track and not
relevant to the questions that the employer asks, which means that I could improve by
cutting down on the things that I say in order to be more direct when I talk and speak the
things the employer want to hear.
