1. Uitwendige bouw cerebrum
Cerebrum bestaat uit:
• Een linker hemisfeer + rechter hemisfeer (hersenhelft)
-> geplitst door een dikke spleet: fissura longirudinalis cerebri
• Tussen de hemiferen lopen verbindingen, vb. de corpus callosun (herenbalk)
Cerebrum overkoepelt:
• Tussenhersenen = diencephalon (thalamus + hypothalamus)
• Middenhersenen = mesencephalon ( bovenste deel vd hersenstam)
• Kleine hersenen
Wat is hemiferische lateralisatie?
Elke hemisfeer is verantwoordelijk voor specifieke functie die niet door de andere hersenhelft kan
uitgevoerd worden

2 functionele onderdelen van de grote hersenen
• Cortex = grijze stof in de grote hersenen, schors aan de buitenkant
• Medulla = onder de cotrex, witte gemyeliniseerde axonen ( witte stof)
3 functionele delen van de medulla
• Associatiebanen
o Verbindingen binnen 1 dezelfde hemisfeer
o Informatie tussen schorsgebieden
• Commissuren
o Verbindingen tussen beide hemisferen
- Vb. de hersenbalk = corpus callosum (grootste verbinding tussen de 2
hemisferen)
o Kruising van de mediaan
• Stijgende en dalende banen
o Opstijgende banen = afferente banen = sensibele banen
o Dalende banen = efferente banen = motorische banen
- Piramidale baan
- Extrapiramidale baan
