2. De lagen
2.1 Epidermis
• = Bovenste laag
• Meerlagig plaveiselepitheel
• Onderste laag van de epidermis = kiemlaag (jongste laag)
• Bovenste laag van de epidermis = hoornlaag (oudste laag)
• Hoe ouder da laag, hoe hoger die ligt
2.1.1 De kiemlaag
• = stratum basale
• Jongste, diepste laag
• Hier ontstaan nieuwe cellen
• Oppervlaktevergroting door epidermiskammen (= bultjes op de kiemlaag)
2.1.2 De hoornlaag
• = stratum corneum
• Oudste, buitenste laag
• Verhoornd, stevig
• Wat we effectief zien -> de huid
• Cellen blijven ong 2 weken in hoornlaag en komen dan log
• Een droge huid is belangrijk
- Micro-organismen overleven hier niet
