Reading 1- Design at its core defined as human capacity to shape and make our environment in ways
without precedent in nature, to serve our needs and give meaning to our lives
- Design not only about initial decisions or concepts by designers but also how they are
implemented and by what means we can evaluate their effect or benefit

- A bricoleur redefines the means he already has
- Bricolage is the creation of structure out of events
