There is a difference between internationalization and globalization.
Internationalization  a company has expanded its business beyond its home country
Globalization  foreign influence on a company or companies in general
When we look at globalization, there are a few definitions that belong to globalization:
Free trade agreement  an agreement between countries to undo measures that restrict
trade!
Trade can be restricted via: a levy on imported goods, quota for certain goods,
minimum price, custom formalities, labeling/technical requirements, subsidies for
local produce, etc.

drivers of internationalization of Business
The EU, NAFTA and WTO have decreased trade barriers through trade agreements and
treaties. Besides that, there is a search for new markets and reduced costs.
- There is a rapid and extensive global communication and education (social media,
television, movies, etc.).
- There is a rapid development and transfer of new technology, including improved
transportation (shorter product-life cycles)
- It increases traval and migration, exposure to new countries and cultures
- E-commerce
- Homogenization of culture and customer demands
- Competitiveness of emerging market Multi National Enterprises (MNEs) and Small
and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
