can achieve at school, university and work.
Our programmes and qualifications set the global standard for international education. They are created by subject
experts, rooted in academic rigour and reflect the latest educational research. They provide a strong platform for
learners to progress from one stage to the next, and are well supported by teaching and learning resources.
Our mission is to provide educational benefit through provision of international programmes and qualifications for
school education and to be the world leader in this field. Together with schools, we develop Cambridge learners
who are confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged – equipped for success in the modern world.

Key benefits

qualification for 14 to 16 year olds, although it can be taken by

Students can choose from 70 subjects in any combination – it is

Cambridge
Our programmes balance a thorough knowledge and understanding learner
of a subject and help to develop the skills learners need for their
next steps in education or employment.
Cambridge IGCSE Drama provides opportunities for learners to
develop practical skills in performance, both as an individual and
within a group. Learners will understand the artistic choices made
by actors, directors and designers in presenting performances for an audience. They will also learn about theatrical
styles and genres. Learners will explore how to develop their own ideas in creating original drama.
Our approach in Cambridge IGCSE Drama encourages learners to be:
confident, developing practical skills to deliver dramatic performance for an audience
responsible, developing shared responsibility working with others and understanding the power of drama to
engage, influence and persuade
reflective, engaging with performance processes, and using them to inform future practice
innovative, creating original dramatic work and formulating imaginative responses to existing repertoire
engaged, developing their enjoyment of drama to support their practical, intellectual and artistic growth.
‘The strength of Cambridge IGCSE qualifications is internationally recognised and has provided
an international pathway for our students to continue their studies around the world.’
Gary Tan, Head of Schools and CEO, Raffles International Group of Schools, Indonesia
