Based on the McKenna (1997) method, the nine steps of this paper examine the representative
aspects of the nursing concept. The following are some general definitions of nursing: Nursing is
a profession that provides care to patients of all ages, whether they are ill or healthy; focuses on
patient care, health promotion, and how people and their environment interact. The profession of
nursing is dedicated to human dignity, comprehensive patient care, professional dedication,
respect for patients' rights, patient participation, and professional conduct; and is dedicated to
meeting the needs of patients, safeguarding patient safety, providing quality care, and following
up on that care. People with good morals, skills in leadership, management, change planning,
problem-solving, and decision-making, as well as a university degree and appropriate
certifications, provide services in the patient's living environment, health care facilities, society,
and legal or academic facilities. Provide care, communicate, design and implement nursing
procedures, lead/manage/plan change in patient care, evaluate and follow-up care,
counseling/education, prevention/rehabilitation, and research are all roles of nursing."
Introduction
Without analyzing the nursing concept and its infrastructures, the model of nursing education
based on the role of nurses in the health system cannot be developed. The nursing concept is
always changing to meet the changing health requirements of patients. It is abundantly clear that
providing a single definition of the nursing concept is insufficient to encompass all facets of the
