Ik heb dit boek gekozen voor mijn leesverslag omdat ik al eerder van het boek had gehoord.
Ik wou het boek dan ook al langer lezen, maar kon het nooit vinden in de bibliotheek. Toen
ik het boek zag staan wist ik meteen dat ik dit boek wilde lezen. Wat me aansprak was de
achterkant van het boek. Het klonk meteen mooi.

Ik verwacht dat dit boek een mooi boek is en het verhaal me gaat raken. Ik verwacht dat
Hazel gaat sterven aan het einde van het boek, omdat ze ongeneeslijk ziek is. Mijn
verwachting van de verloop van het verhaal is als volgt: Hazel ontmoet Augustus en ze
worden verliefd, Augustus blijft bij haar tot het einde.
-Opbouw verhaal
The story is structured chronologically with occasional flashbacks from Hazel. The book has
an open-ended ending, because at the end we do not find out what happens to Hazel in the
future.
