Kenmerken van de marktvorm volkomen concurrentie:
- het aantal aanbieders en vragers is groot
- homogeen product = geen voorkeur
- transparante markt = marktpartijen zijn volledig geïnformeerd over het product
- vrije toe- en uittreding
- hoeveelheidsaanpasser
Marginale opbrengst is gelijk aan de prijs (MO=P)
