employees, staff and faculty are located in the area of 10 square blocks that make up
the Omaha campus that UNMC shares with its primary clinical partner, Nebraska
Medicine. All classrooms, laboratories, clinical areas, the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer
Center, the Center for Healthy Living, the Stanley M. Truhlsen Eye Institute and the
homes of the College of Medicine, College of Pharmacy, College of Allied Health
Professions, Omaha Division of the College of Nursing and the College of Public Health
are housed in this area. Nebraska Medicine also has three hospital towers on this
central Omaha campus: University Tower, Clarkson Tower and Werner Hospital, which
is part of its cancer center.
