Verduurzamen: “Het systematisch reduceren van het gebruik van grondstoffen en
energie alsmede het verminderen van schadelijke neveneffecten zoals onder andere
vervuiling, vernietiging en uitputting” (Jonker & Faber, 2020: p. 24)
Circulariseren: “Het organiseren van waardebehoud van grondstoffen, halffabricaten
en producten in kringlopen” (Jonker & Faber, 2020: p. 24)
§ Komt in plaats van lineair organiseren
§ Oog op hergebruik, levensduurverlenging, etc. Nieuwe vormen van hoogwaardig
hergebruik, conversie, substitutie
§ Circulariseren ≠ verduurzamen (bijv. Kringlopen kunnen niet duurzaam zijn)
§ NB. Niet alles laat zich circulariseren
Inclusiviteit:
o Gelijkwaardige toegang van mensen tot het sociale en economische verkeer in de
samenleving, incl. maatschappelijke, publiekelijke en private goederen en diensten.
o Natuur en ecosystemen nemen vaste plaats in besluitvormingsprocessen.
