linked individuals. Such TRANSACTIVE MEMORY SYSTEMS are expected to be more than just the sum
total of memories stored by the members of the group. also include knowledge of where information
can be found (i.e. who knows what) and how to access it.

- Sparrow et al, 2011 wondered if the Internet has become an enormous transactive memory store. If
