Nog niet uitchecken bij hotel papa en mamaVolgend schooljaar zit ik in vwo 6 en doe ik eindexamen. Ik wil daarna gaan studeren aan een
universiteit en de afgelopen maanden ben ik al behoorlijk bezig geweest om een studie te vinden die
bij mij past (wat overigens enorm lastig is). Tijdens het zoeken naar studies betrap ik mezelf erop dat
ik alleen naar studies in steden kijk die zich dichtbij mijn woonplaats bevinden. Het moet tenslotte
wel mogelijk zijn om ernaartoe te reizen, uit huis gaan lijkt voor mij niet eens een optie. Ik ben dan
ook alleen naar de open dagen in Amsterdam en Utrecht gaan kijken. Dit verschijnsel merk ik bijna bij
al mijn klasgenoten, bijna niemand is al van plan het ouderlijk huis te gaan verlaten. Maar waarom
niet? Mijn ouders gingen ook gewoon allebei direct uit huis toen ze gingen studeren. Waarom
overweeg ik niet om bijvoorbeeld in Groningen te gaan studeren, en daarbij uit huis te gaan?
