renew a registration cert or license if, after the notice & hearing, the fire marshal finds
the holder has violated chapter, rules, or misrepresented the sale of products or
services rendered.
6003.253 - Answers- If fire marshal suspends or revokes license, holder of license is
entitled to a hearing conducted by the state office of administrative hearing.
6003.255 - Answers- -holder whose license has been denied, refused, or revoked may
not file another application until the 1st anniversary of the effective date of the
revocation OR if judicial review Is sought before the first anniversary.
34.710 - Answers- -Change of ownership invalidates current cert. A new application
must be submitted to fire marshal 14 days before the change.
-partial change in firms ownership will require a revised certificate if it affects the firms
name, location, or mailing address.
-any change in cooperate officers must be reported in writing to fire marshal within 14
days. This DOES NOT require a revised certificate.
-duplicate certificate must be obtained from the state fire marshal to replace a lost or
destroyed certificate.
-a certificate is neither temporarily no permanently transferable from one firm to another.
