D1:
Evaluate the usefulness of the documents in the interview pack for a given
organisation in facilitating the interview process.

In this assignment I will be making a judgement about the usefulness of each of
the documents I produced in P3 of this unit. I will be explaining How do these
documents help a selected organisation to organise, manage and conduct the
interview and the process of selecting decision? The organization I have chosen
for this assignment is Apple.

Job Advert:

The job advertisement helps Apple organise the recruitment process by
advertising the open vacancy of the company to people. Candidates will see the
advertisement and would want to find out what type of role they are looking at
and what the tasks will involve. The job advertisements help Apple manage the
recruitment process because only suitable candidates will apply for the job,
candidates which do not qualify for the qualifications won’t apply for the job
this way it will be easier to manage the candidates which have applies for the
job. The job advertisement helps Apple conduct the recruitment process
because, people are informed about the open vacancy and apply for the job if
they think that they are suitable. I think the job advertisement is useful for
Apple because it attracts suitable candidates for the open position. It is easy
and cheap to make and can reach thousands of people if you publish it on the
right way. However for Apple this should be no problem, because they are a
worldwide known brand with millions of social media followers.

Job Description:

The job description helps Apple organise the recruitment process by explaining
the open vacancy in detail to candidates. Candidates will know what the job
involves and what they can expect when applying for the job. The job
description helps Apple manage the recruitment process by separating
candidates which actually are qualified for the job from candidates who are not
qualified for the job. For example, if the job description states that a candidate
needs an experience of at least 3 years in sales and you have experience in
sales for 1 year, you will go ahead and find another job. So, this way the job
description also manages the candidates from which are qualifies and which
are not. The job description helps Apple conduct the recruitment process,
because the selected candidates are there because of the job description. They
